Book Launch: Bill Miller's "I Was Born in Hoboken"

The Museum is pleased to celebrate the launch of Bill Miller's latest book, "I Was Born in Hoboken," on Sunday, March 1, at 4 p.m. The book is a memoir of growing up in the 1950s and 60s in Hoboken. Tickets are $22, which includes a signed copy of the book and refreshments.

Stevens Talk: Allen Kratz, "Learning from Martha Bayard Stevens: Education All Around Town"

In conjunction with the exhibition, "The Extraordinary Stevens Family, A New Jersey Legacy: 1776 - 1911," the Museum has invited noted scholars and authors to address various aspects of the Stevens family's legacy. Historian Allen Kratz will discuss "Learning from Martha Bayard Stevens: Education All Around Town."

Admission is $10, $5 for Hoboken Museum members

 

Stevens Talk: Leah Loscutoff, Tour of the Stevens Family Collections, Stevens Institute of Technology

March 15, 2015 • 2pm

Location: Samuel C. Williams Library, Stevens Institute of Technology

In conjunction with the exhibition, "The Extraordinary Stevens Family, A New Jersey Legacy: 1776 - 1911," the Museum has invited noted scholars and authors to address various aspects of the Stevens family's legacy. Leah Loscutoff, Archivist and Special Collections Librarian at Stevens Institute will lead a tour of the Stevens archives at the Samuel C. Williams Library.
