The Hoboken Historical Museum invites you to a special lecture delivered by Dr. Molly Vollman Makris, which will take place this Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 4pm. The presentation is entitled “Gentrification Down The Shore: Asbury Park, NJ & Reflections on Hoboken.” The topics of affordable housing, employment, and opportunities for young people will be part of the focus.

Dr. Molly Vollman Makris, Professor of Urban Studies, holds a Ph.D. in Urban Systems, with concentrations in Urban Educational Policy and the Urban Environment, from Rutgers University and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
