You may know Elena from the wonderful articles she writes as a contributor for The Hoboken Girl. Elena’s family migrated from Puerto Rico to Hoboken, and she grew up in the Mile Square City. She is proud to share that she knows our town like the back of her hand. At an early age, Elena found her voice as a writer. She interned at MTV, VH1, and Teen Vogue, and went on to work as a fashion/beauty editor for Downtown Magazine. One of her favorite things to do is to write about food. Inspired by her Grandma Carmen and Mother Maria, Elena honors her Puerto Rican culture by sharing Latin + Caribbean recipes, which can be found on her website https://madewithsazon.com.
